The Mindfulness Connection

Life can be a noisy ass whirlwind! Am I right? Sometimes we just want to tell that lil voice to shut the kale up!

Follow this easy exercise when your feeling frazzled…

4,7,8 Breath Exercise:

Close your eyes, focus on a consistent sound, like the wind blowing or the hum of the A.C. in your office. Breath deeply through your nose for 4 counts in, hold your breath for 7 counts & exhale out of your mouth for 8 counts. If your mind wanders it’s A-okay & totally normal, just re-focus and continue. Do that 4 times & tell me how you feel..

Yeah I know… Amazing right?

When we quiet the beta brain aka “monkey mind”, we have access to our inner voice aka inner guidance system.

Practicing mindfulness can effect your emotional state or mood which can effect your perception & how you make decisions. Doing this up to 2x a day will not only regulate your stress hormones but effect your life in a big way.
